Floyd Coleman (b. 1939)

Floyd Coleman was born in 1939 in Sawyerville, Alabama. Before earning his doctorate in 1975 from the University of Georgia in Athens, he was an associate professor of art at Clark College (later Clark Atlanta University) in Atlanta for six years.
His acrylic work Showcasing (1968) is part of Georgia's State Art Collection.
