Used by the minor league baseball team the Macon Braves, 1991-2002, during which time the pitching rubber was never changed.
(A pitching rubber is placed on the pitcher's mound, and the pitcher must keep one foot on it while throwing the ball.) Future
major leaguers Chipper Jones, Andruw Jones, and Rafael Furcal all played for the Macon Braves.
