This seven-foot bronze statue, part of the Charles Lindbergh Memorial at present-day Souther Field Airport, depicts Lindbergh as a wing-walker during his daredevil barnstorming days before he arrived at Souther Field in April 1923. The statue was sculpted by William G. Thompson of the University of Georgia and dedicated in 1992.
