Junko Ono Rothwell is a professional artist and writer who specializes in pastels. She is a graduate of Okayama University in Japan, where she received an art degree. Her work is on display in numerous public and private collections, including the Southern Company's collection.
Rothwell's oil painting Chattahoochee River #7 (1986) is part of Georgia's State Art Collection.
