Philip Carpenter (b. 1950)

Philip Carpenter was born in 1950. His work is found in the collections of the Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport, High Museum of Art, and Museum of Contemporary Art of Georgia, all in Atlanta, and at the LaGrange Art Museum in LaGrange.
Carpenter began teaching at the Chastain Arts Center in Atlanta in 1980. His oil painting Union Made is part of Georgia's State Art Collection.
