Pitcher (1987) by Kathy Gottlieb is part of Georgia's State Art Collection. According to Gottlieb, "I like to work with the functional form, the pitcher, but I enjoy stretching it beyond its function. This form curves and bends to add grace and to imply movement--as if it were ready to pour." Clay, 16 1/2 x 6 1/2 x 2 inches
