Sunflowers (1987) by Shelly E. Abbott is part of Georgia's State Art Collection. According to Abbott, "The original sketch for this painting was made in Monet's garden at Giverny in France but when I did the finished painting the sunflowers reminded me of the simple flowers that my grandmother painted so I gave it a country background." Watercolor, 19 1/2 x 27 3/4 inches
