Because the train didn’t go from Atlanta to Cumming, the accused prisoners were marched to their trials from Buford, where this photograph was taken on October, 2, 1912. From left to right: Jane Daniel, Oscar Daniel, Toney Howell, Ed Collins, Isaiah Pirkle, and Ernest Knox.
